How to Create a New Security Group

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the security panel.
  2. Click the Add Group button on the left side.
  3. Enter the required details (e.g., group name and description) in the modal form.
  4. Save the newly created group to add it to the system.

How to Edit an Existing Security Group

Steps:

  1. In the security panel, use the search function to locate the desired group.
  2. Hover over the group to reveal the Edit button.
  3. Click Edit to open the modal form containing the group’s properties.
  4. Modify the group’s name and description as needed.
  5. Save the changes to update the group.

How to Configure Permissions for a Security Group

Steps:

  1. Select a security group from the left panel to open its details in the right panel.
  2. In the Permissions tab, review the list of permission categories.
  3. For each permission category (e.g., System, User Interface, etc.), select the appropriate setting (Allow, Disallow, or Not Assigned).
    • Ensure that System, User Interface, and Document Management System are set to Allow where necessary.
  4. Save the changes to update the group�s permissions.

How to Delete a Group or Remove a Group from a Profile

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the security panel and locate the target group using the search field.
  2. Hover over the group to reveal the Delete and Remove from Profile buttons.
  3. Click Delete to permanently remove the group from the system, or click Remove from Profile to delete its association with the selected profile.
  4. Confirm the action if prompted.

How to Refresh and Search the Security Group List

Steps:

  1. In the left panel of the security screen, locate the search field.
  2. Enter the keyword(s) to filter the list of user groups.
  3. Click the Refresh button to update the group list and ensure the latest data is displayed.
  4. Review the filtered list to find the required group.
